Is There a Fee for Removing My Albums and Singles from Stores?

Release Takedowns and the Absence of Additional Charges

No, we do not charge any fee for removing your music from digital stores and streaming platforms. Takedown of a release is a standard part of catalog management and is fully included in the regular distribution service.

What “Free Release Removal” Means in Practice

  • no fee for removing releases from stores;
  • no charge for deleting individual tracks or albums;
  • no fee for repeated removals when updating releases;
  • no fee for mass catalog takedown during a distributor transfer;
  • no fee for removals requested for business or legal reasons.

All takedown operations are routine technical processes, and the platform does not monetize catalog management.

When Release Removal May Be Required

A takedown may be necessary in the following cases:

  • transferring your catalog from another distributor;
  • copyright claims or rights disputes;
  • preparing an updated or improved version of a release;
  • metadata or artwork errors;
  • the artist’s or label’s decision to stop distribution.

In all these cases, removal is performed free of charge and without hidden fees.

Important

If you remove a release before transferring your catalog, we also support this process to:

  • help preserve streams and statistics (when ISRC codes are maintained);
  • avoid extended downtime between distributors;
  • properly synchronize the takedown and re-delivery of your catalog.

In summary: removal of albums and singles from stores is completely free of charge. You do not pay for technical operations, repeated removals, or mass catalog takedowns.
